Lego Star Wars Sets Episodes 1 to 6 - Hobbies - Collecting

The Lego Group has up to now released a collection of Lego Star Wars sets for all of the Star wars films. These Lego sets are nice and actually do an excellent job of recreating scenes from the Star Wars films by having lifelike looking people and vehicles. Lego has successfully used its little bricks to make my fav film Star Wars come to life. These Lego Star Wars sets are by far the Lego Group's most popular theme and are beloved by Lego followers and Star Wars followers alike. This demand has created some very rare Star Wars Lego sets that may be very valuable.

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Lego Sets

Lego based their Phantom Menace sets on the Episode One Star Wars movie. This film dives into the origins of Luke Skywalker's heritage and the characters and stories of that era. An interesting and fairly massive set from Lego was the Mos Espa Podrace. This big set has a whole ten Lego minifigures including Lukes future mother and father Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala. This set is now discontinued and due to that it is extremely highly valued by collectors and is worth way more than the normal retail price it once sold for. The Mos Espa Pod Race is certainly a favorite amongst Star Wars Lego collectors.

Star Wars: Attack Of The Clones Lego Sets

The second movie in the series of Prequels was The Attack of the Clones. The Lego Group did not make very many sets for this movie when compared to the amount of sets made for the other films nonetheless these sets don't disappoint. I would bet that each Lego Star Wars set that has been released for Episode Two are a must have for Lego collectors. The Lego Attack of the Clones set Jango Fetts Slave 1 is one great example. The Lego set is a favourite amongst fans and has been discontinued for quite some time making it a very high demand set. The Star Wars Lego minifig in this set is the very rare Jango Fett. The reason for the rarety is that Jango Fett is only available in the Slave 1 set and no other Lego set.

Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith Lego Sets

The Revenge of the Sith was the the third film made in the Star Wars prequel series. Lego made a lot of sets based on this movie, a good deal of them worth collecting as well. A set that is very collectable was the Darth Vader Transformation set, based on a scene within the movie. The set is completely different to a lot of the others and although small it is a good playable Lego set. The Lego minifigures that are in this set are Darth Vader, of course, and a battle damaged Anakin Skywalker. These two minifigs show Anakin after almost being destroyed and then after he is transformed into the evil Darth Vader.

Star Wars: A New Hope Lego Sets

The original film came out in 1977 as Star Wars (that's how I remember it) later it was changed to Star Wars: A New Hope. This film is the classic, the base of the Star Wars movement and as much a significant film as any. A New Hope has many sets made by Lego. The most important set Lego made would be the Millennium Falcon based on this movie. The largest Lego kit you could purchase was the Millennium Falcon, it was built to minifig scale and had greater than 5000 pieces. There are two other Millennium Falcon ship sets however they're much smaller and don't fit minifigures in them.

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Lego Sets

Episode 4 of the Star Wars film series was called The Empire Strikes Back. For film buffs this can be a classic and was a really profitable movie. Even though there are plenty of Lego sets based on this episode, my fav would be Bob Fetts Slave 1, the original is rare including the minifigure. There is also a second model of the Slave I starship, the Slave I 6209, which is a significantly better build with a few more mini figures and rather more detailed. The Lego range of The Empire Strikes Back has some other good sets - the expensive and hard to search out Cloud City and the great Tie Bomber.

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi Lego Sets

The Return of the Jedi was the third film made but is the sixth episode, it was originally going to be known as The Revenge of the Jedi. This is the final movie and very much a classic. Once again Lego has many many sets round this film, some of them fairly uncommon and with nice minifigures. A great example would be the Jabba The Hutt character. The Jabba series of Lego sets included with the Return of the Jedi system of Lego bricks is one of the best part of this system. Jabba's Message, Jabba's Palace, Jabba's Prize, these are all excellent Lego Star Wars sets and an ideal compliment to any collection.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Lego Sets

The Clone Wars is an animated film and the latest in the Star Wars world. What a fantastic job Lego did with all of the Clone Wars range. The mini figures included in this series have a really animated look to them, similar to the Clone Wars film. This Lego series includes the Pirate Tank 7753 Lego Set. The Pirate Tank set is as distinctive a set as there is because the Pirates and their ship from the Clone Wars movie aren't seen in any of the other Starwars movies.

Star Wars: The Expanded Universe Lego Sets

The Expanded Universe Lego Sets include only a few Lego Sets. These ones are the Rogue Shadow, which I have, it features a battle damaged Darth , an Imperial Speeder bike and a fairly good TIE Crawler.
